That’s right it’s yet another who’s the daddy story over in PC. In fact, you could even say that we began looking at your watch the minute the “limo sex” began. The rest is pretty much blah blah blah. Jax shared the possible pregnancy with Kate, like an idiot. Kate of course shared it with Sonny, who amazingly enough, figured that one and one can indeed make a baby… Carly put taking a pregnancy test off by saying she just needed time, so Jax backed off. Before she took a test, she had to consult with Diane who explained to Carly that if this baby was in fact Sonny’s, he would have full legal rights. When Sonny confronted Carly back at home, she him that if there was a baby, it was Jason’s. Sonny scoffed. Carly went to the penthouse with a pregnancy test and announced to Jason that they were going to see of they were going to have a baby.

- Jax thinks Carly shows all the signs of being knocked up (other than her having sex with Sonny)
- Carly thinks Jax is out of his mind—until she begins rowfing left and right (and remembers having sex with Sonny)
- Carly consults with Diane as to her parental rights if this unborn baby turns out to belong to Sonny too, Diane tells Carly that Sonny’s renouncing custody of Michael and Morgan—won’t apply to a new baby (Duh)
- Jax shares Carly’s possible pregnancy with Kate, who then shares it with Sonny (with Kate? Really Carly, how stupid are you?)
- Sonny’s remebers his limo sex with Carly (Wow, stupido’s thinkin for a change)
- Sonny confronts Carly about her pregnancy (Sonny? Carly? Confrontation? Is it noon already?)
- Carly blames Jason for being knocked up. (Carly slept with Jason? Yea, if stupido buys that, I’ve got a bridge for sale….)
- Carly asks Jason to pretend to be the father of her unborn baby, but he implores her to just tell the damned truth for once (And by implore I mean he says, “Bitch you’re crazy if you think I’m starting that again!)
- Sonny brings up the question of paternity to Jax, which alerts him to Carly’s indiscretion (and away he goes)
- Kate says yes to Sonny. But first, she insists he sign a prenuptial agreement (yea, she doesn’t want him to end up with her closet full of couture)
- Sonny and Kate work it out, but then Kate being Kate, must plan her wedding like it’s Princess Di and Prince Charles. This overwhelms the understated, private Sonny (yea because it’s the first time he’s been married… in 2008… or is it? I can’t even remember!)
- Jason Cook debuts as Dr. Matt, who will interact with Maxie (and the writers have him fall in love with Lulu so that he can end up with Maxie)

Well what a week over in Port Chuck. Let’s get to the meat (pun intended) of it, shall we?
- Lucky & Sam are very cute. I’m amazed at how far they have come with redeeming both characters as well as Liz. The last two years have just been the demise of all three of these characters. And as it turns out, once Jason was removed from the story they all started to become like able again. The adventures in Mexico were a refreshing change. Even the honest exchange upon their return to Port Chuck was nice, with Sam fully admitting that she becomes desperate and possessive in a realationship. Admitting that is true sign that the character has grown a bit. Though I don’t feel that Lucky & Sam make a good couple for the long run, I do like them together now. So I’ll take the good where I can get it.
- The Infectious delivery guy was a hard story to swallow, but entertaining nonetheless. There is a somewhat odd chemistry between Jason, Claudia, & Spinelli. It does make for some funny moments. With that said, a few funny moments does not change the fact that Claudia is responsible for Michael’s shooting, and therefor puts her into a category I call, “Irredeemable”. I hate when the writers box a character in like that, because nothing they write can reverse the irredeemable act in which the character took part.
- That brings me of course to Jerry Jacks, Moreau, Mr. Craig. The baddy of all baddies. Here’s the man that has double crossed EVERYONE during his time in the PC. His introduction was the killing of Alan, and he shot Robin, forcing an ugly operation, and almost killing a pregnant Liz. All of this by taking everyone hostage in his own brothers hotel. Though the actor and the character are likable, a lot, it makes no sense to have Alexis, of all people fall under his spell. I know he can offer protection, but really, it’s only a matter of time before he turns on her. I’m glad Jax socked him up. Their arrest after their fight, of course another chance for GH to bump up visibility of the Police Station for Night Shift.
- Mac is being a little silly, and arresting Patrick was the icing on the cake of that silliness. I can’t wait to see what they do with Robert when he returned over on NS…
- The photo shoot over in the metro court did nothing for me. Kate is working my nerves more and more with each passing day. And the inevitable proposal from Sonny is about as lame as Kate’s…well as lame as Kate herself.
- Speaking of Kate being lame, how has she not fired Lulu yet? On the rare occasions that Lulu is at work, she usually with Johnny, or attracting other Mafioso like Anthony Zacharra to come around and play Goodfellas in Kate’s office. Lulu’s work ethic over at Crimson is so bad that it makes Kate look even worse for keeping her there.
- Maxie on the other hand seems very real and comfortable in the new world of Crimson that GH is creating. The problem is Lulu. Their rivalry has been an enjoyable one, but it’s getting old. I have no doubt that Maxie can get to Johnny, only because she always gets to Lulu’s men, eventually. I just think they can do more with Maxie than having her keep seducing lulu’s guys…
- Since I’m at it, how about Lulu skipping work to whisk Johnny away to the Q’s boat house? Then getting flirty & sexy. Then finally, at the last second before they duck inside to do the deed, then she decides to tell him about Dhillon, and her virginity, and getting pregnant, and the abortion….Thank God Tracy stopped them because the kiss after ward had me feeling a little puky…
- Does anyone else feel serious pain every time Alan arrives in that track suit?
- I totally heart Max & Diane. They’re so cute, and they’re anti marriage views make complete sense over there in Port Chuck. I’m surprised more folks don’t run screaming form the mere mention of marriage over there…

First of all I must let you all know that I’ve been “notified” that the pictures I’ve been using are copyright infringement and they had to be removed. I feel very bad, I was in no way trying to break the law. I’m no criminal. I’m just a gal with a blog trying to do some good in this crazy world. This must be what Sonny feels like when people accuse him of not being a legitimate coffee exporter. Leave us alone people! We’re just trying to live our lives on the up & up. We’re not criminals!
Ok, now that I’ve got that out of the way, it was another boring day over in the PC. Alexis ordered Carly to talk to Sonny again. Ok, what’s the point of all this again? It just seems cruel of Sonny. I’m no lawyer, but shouldn’t Alexis be able to go to court and simply tell them Sonny signed away his rights to his sons to protect them? Can’t Carly testify on her behalf? Is there a judge in the world who wouldn’t allow it? Is Guza even awake over there?
Carly & Jason shared some sweet scenes, where Jason reminded Carly to stay strong and stick with her decision. I’m still amazed by the amount of common sense that Carly & Jason are showing these days. It’s almost like they should be on a different soap…
Sonny made Spinelli’s charade worse by showing and calling him freaky boy again? I will say this again, why??? Having Sonny talk to Spinelli like that, and call him such a demeaning name just makes him look like a jack ass! Is that really what they’re trying to accomplish over there in the writers room?
Giselle make some snide remarks about the coziness of Jax, Carly, Kate, & Sonny. Alexis shows up and sees Sonny & Carly are getting back together. What? Is there a sign that says “Limo Sex” tattooed on them?
Maxie goes off on Spinelli for acting weird. Weird? She thinks “Damien” is weird. But Spinelli is not? Whatev.
Spinelli gets drunk and Claudia takes him home where Jason walks in on them.
Hmmm. Mondays.

- Jason, Spinelli and Claudia are all quarantined after being exposed to a deadly virus (Can bad writing be considered a virus?)
- Nikolas learns that Jerry and Alexis slept together. (And decides that, like the rest of us, he could care less)
- Sam and Lucky grow closer with Sam realizing that she could still lose Lucky to Liz. (True that)
- Lulu and Johnny spend time together after Lulu offers up an apology. (You know, for being herself)
- Jax and Jerry are arrested after an altercation in Alexis’s office. (I think it was over whose accent was more “Aussie” sounding)
- Sonny gets ready to propose to Kate. (What does one stupid person marrying another stupid person make? Oh wait, I don’t care…)
- Sonny and Carly declare that they will never get back together again. (Not including sex of course)
- Patrick finds himself arrested. (Really, shouldn’t the writers be held responsible for such bad story lines?)
- Jason is poisoned. (Wait, I thought he had a virus?)
- Carly feels guilty for keeping Morgan away from Sonny. (Wait, wasn’t that last week?)
- Carly fears that she may be pregnant with Sonny’s child. (Can we not call this a spoiler and maybe list it as, DUH!)

Well it looks like the rumor that Vanessa Marcil was coming back has fallen flat, yet again. Word on the street is that they reached some sort of deal, but when TIIC wouldn’t “show Marcil the money”, she walked…
Which means it looks like Jax’s “exit” later this summer won’t include a visit from Brenda. But that doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. The grapevine says that he’s primed for a prime time gig (24?) which will keep him from returning to Port Chuck anytime soon…
All rumors, nothing of course is for sure….

It says a lot about a soap when you find yourself surprised that you enjoyed some of it. Today was one of those days. There was of course a handful of stories related to Father’s Day. Diane’s surprisingly touching scene with Jason, where she talked about her late father was sweet. She managed to stay true to her character, and somehow Jason’s silence actually came across as sweet. When she ended her emotional tangent by saying that any man who is a father or has a father, should be thankful for the gift. I was afraid for a moment that they were going to have yet another “am I doing the right thing by abandoning Jake” moment, but no. Instead we saw another touching scene with Jason at Sonny’s giving him the father’s day gifts Micheal had picked out. It’s been many man moons since Jason & Sonny have shared any chemistry at all.
The scene with Max inviting Sonny to go fishing was actually quite sweet as well. Sonny’s appreciation at the gesture was as honest and sincere as Max’s intentions. Good stuff. Made me wonder, did Guza take Father’s Day off?
Apparently no, because there more scenes with Lulu being stupid, and Claudia getting in people’s faces. My biggest disappointment was Maxie ruining the very funny cover Spinelli was using, his Aussie alter ego, “Damien”. C’mon, Jax & Kate, you couldn’t think fast enough to whisk Maxie away when she showed up? You had to let her keep running her mouth off? I love Damien, by the way. LOVE him.
Carly brings Sonny his Father’s Day gift from Morgan, which sets him off. He tells her someday Morrgan will turn 18, and he’ll know what she did. And he will hate her for it. Carly’s response summed up the whole point of the storyline, “At least he’ll live to see his 18th birthday”.
- Nadine & Nikolas work on the clinic
- Robin & baby are fine and will be in the care of baby daddy, Patrick
- Claudia & Jerry have word, again
- Sam & Lucky brawl & live la vida loca in Mexico!
Another week come and gone on the streets of Port Chuck…

So GH has got this potentially entertaining scene with Kate’s nemesis from Couture showing up at the Crimson offices. The slick Devil Wears Prada Vibe was slammin, and I was all ready to watch the tow “fashion icons” go toe to toe as Maxie & Lulu Cheered from the sidelines. I like the idea of the whole Devil Wears Prada rip off, it’s a little different, and brings out the only thing I ever like about Kate. But NOOOOOOO. The writers over at GH had to turn my good DWP moment into yet another cheap knock off of the Sopranos. Anthony Zacchara comes wheeling in to throw some thinly veiled threats at Lulu, and basically make Kate & Lulu look dumb (not that either of them need much help). And, POOF! In an instant my good moment was ruined by the stupid Mob. I CANNOT wait for the day that Kate is dragged off to Shadybrook, and Maxie will rule Crimson. After she’s slept with Johnny and caused Lulu to run away, for good this time.
I certainly hope so anyway, because if Lulu doesn’t get socked up by Claudia soon, I’m going to pay Maxie to do it. The scenes with Claudia and Lulu just make Lulu look more and more pathetic. Do the writers ahve some sort of bad writing hit put out on Julie Marie Berman?
I’m so loving Jax & Spinnelli! Of course he should go to Jax. There is NO ONE cooler.
